It is also a question that should i asked myself "who is my absolute value?"
Bishop Tagle gives inspiration not only to the summit of the rogationist, but also to me as a postulant of the Sons of Holy Mary Immaculate. His question of "who" needs an answer pertaining to a person. In that sense i would answer the person whom i seek in my vocation. Jesus is the God whom i give my absolute value in my life.

As Bishop Tagle ask "Who is your absolute value?"
I would answer it as Jesus is my "Ultimate Concern"
Why is this so?
Because Jesus is the one that we hold on to.
Without Jesus in our life
Life is misserable.

It is really inspiring to see high-ranking Church officials and religious superiors going to a place like Malibay for the sole purpose of helping other people who have no homes. This is a concrete example that the Church does not simply preach the Gospel in the pulpits but she tries to live and apply what she is teaching: the Gospel of love and life. May the Lord continue to bless the whole community of the Rogationists and all their endeavors and plans.

I have been to Parang twice, during the installation of my kababayan Fr. Bong and the anniversary of Fr. Diego's death. All that I can say is that the place is deserving for the project of the very first mission summit. Not only because the place was very dear to Fr. Diego, also because we can see the need of the youth there.

It was unfortunate that we were not able to attend the activity in SHEC. Last new years eve we were ther two of my co-seminarians and I was looking forward to that activity. However, it is good that our missionaries were able to visit the place. it is really one of the mission place of the Rogationist that I truly admire. If it is God's will, I want someday to work there following the footsteps of Frs. Dex and orville.

The message of Bishop Angel Lagdameo, Archbishop of Jaro, Iloilo last Jan. 11, 2008 regarding the project Bataan was inspired me to reflect on the aspect of mission in my vocation journey as a seminarian. It is a good opportunity for me to witness this first mission forum that was held here in the Philippines and to here the inspiring and heart-warming message of the bishop which made me to realize the importance of 'mission' in my life as seminarian and it also encourage me to be more docile in my calling.

It is very impressive on what the Rogationist Fathers had done in Malibay, Pasay with their SHEC. I was touched because the spirit of loving the needy is seen through their house project. It is a work of the Lord through the charism of St. Hannibal. With our present situations today, there are lots of people who don't have the place to lay their heads. They don't have the food to eat and children are scattered everywhere. May people help more this project of the Rogationist Fathers. As what Jesus said, "what you have done to my brethren, you did it to me."

The presence of one of the acclaimed Filipino bishop and if I may say it, a theologian in his own right, is really a sign of God's presence and approval in the summit. Bishop Chito Tagle's sharing was really, a very inspiring and challenging invitation not only for the family of the rogationists but also for all those who are present there. He united the summit together with what the whole Mother Church celebrates: the Jubilee of St. Paul. A experience that is worth treasuring indeed!
