Holiness means performing the ordinary tasks of our call by a power not our own: the person and gifts of the Spirit given to us at our baptism…..Thomas became a saint, not by undertaking a life of rigorous mortifications nor by working great miracles, but by surrendering himself to the Holy spirit in his life’s task of proclaiming the good news of Jesus.
